PRLog (Press Release)Jun 15, 2010 – ParetoLogic refuses to slow down – recession or not. The Victoria software developers’ growth continued unabated over the past five years, and this fact has been recognized by the latest Profit 100 ranking. Since their first sale in 2004, ParetoLogic’s returns increased by a minimum of 50% annually, and their revenues often doubled and tripled. The result: ParetoLogic now ranks #23 among all Canadian businesses.

“We are thrilled to join the Profit 100” said Elton Pereira, Co-founder, President, and CEO of ParetoLogic. “Our growth has been nothing short of phenomenal and we’re proud to share that with the world.”

ParetoLogic develops PC security and optimization software for the home user. XoftSpySE Anti-Spyware and ParetoLogic Anti-Virus PLUS mark their most successful entries into the security field, while FileCure, DriverCure, and their latest program, PC Health Advisor are extremely popular system utilities.

Pereira explained ParetoLogic’s meteoric growth in one word: “people.”

“We make software, but what we’re really about is helping people. We created a customer-centric business plan that allows us to provide home users with the software that works – and software that helps. In order to do that, we needed people of our own. When we started out there were just a handful of us – but each of us brought our own unique skills to the table. As our staff grew, we continually sought out the best people in their field, put faith in our employees, and provided an atmosphere of ideas and learning. They did the rest.”

The Profit 100 list for 2010 ranks independent Canadian businesses based on their revenue growth between 2004 and 2009. Employees, profit margins, and exports as a percentage of growth are also listed. ParetoLogic and the rest of the Profit 100 can be found in the June issue of Profit magazine.
